Have a current professional teaching license
Have completed
a 5-day training in technology engineering offered by the Department of
Education or (if trained by an outside vendor/state approved training
the candidates must submit a copy of their certificate of completion to
the Program Consultant for Technology Engineering
Education.
Have completed
the new teacher training seminar offered at the Annual CATE Conference
by the Division of Career and Technical Education for Technology
Engineering Education.
Have successfully
passed the Praxis Specialty in Technology Education Examination with a
minimum score of 580 (the scores must be on file with the Department of
Teaching and Licensing before being allowed to teach any courses in
Technology Engineering Education)
Complete and submit the add on endorsement application to the Program Consultant for Technology Engineering Education.
